AC Jr Serial to USB connectivity?

I am sure this issue has been dealt with many times on this forum, but I don't have time to search through hundreds of threads!

I have been running my AC Jr for about a year now, and finally got around to getting a serial cable and ground fault interrupter. I go to hook it up with my old school Toshiba Laptop...and the laptop doesn't have a serial connector!!

Has anyone tried a Serial to USB connector and had it work??

Yes, a USB to serial adapter will work. I personally use an iogear.com adapter on my laptop, and it works fine.
