anybody thought about running ozone on the octo extreme? How does the Sicce pump hold up? or any thoughts on its longevity? Does anybody think the best way to run it, is to tap the air intake, kind of like JR did on his Orca, I have an Orca also, but havnt done ozone on it either.Any ideas would be great.

I bought my Extreme 160 a while back just to be an ozone reactor. I plan on hooking it up this weekend due to the extra bioload my tank is taking on at this time. I plan on either using a tee in the airline or drilling and tapping the silencer for a JG fitting. The only thing I have not figured out is what to do about the breather holes in the lid. I may fabricate something for that.

yeah JR I was contemplating somethign for that also, not sure what, but im working on it, you think a tee would work, yeah that would , would you run it like that on your orca if you did it over, Im wanting to do my orca also, for some odd reason ive had an ick outbreak nothing serious all the fish seem to be doing ok, it started right after i put my buddies orange spotted rabbit fish in my tank it outgrew his and so he out it in mine, and hes had the fish for over a year, but a ouple of my fish i dont want anything to happen to , my maculiceps, my crosshatch , sohal.

I like how neat and clean the silencer mod was but I feel it would be better injected closer to the actual venturi input.
