npc/quarantine tank

i was thinking would i be able to keep non photosynthetic corals in my qt tank? what do you guys think?

Depends on the NPS coral you want to keep. Tubastrea and Dendrophyllia would proly be OK, however Dendronepthya, Scleronepthya and most NPS gorgonians require constant food in the water, along with SPS quality water (ie, they're harder than SPS ;) ).
