Well I've personally seen what seems like a million different shades of xenia. It also has alot to do with what lights you keep this animal under and how much florescence it displays. There was even some debate awhile back as to whether or not "blue xenia" was actually "xenia," or whether it was more likely sansibia(sp).

I say if it looks blue...which it does...then you have blue xenia..;)

Well, since coral coloration is so dependant on lighting, I would say you MIGHT have blue xenia, but if you have a lot of atinics, which it looks like you do, then it's probably just the light. The blue xenia in the picture that's not in your tank looks like it was taken under fairly whitish light.

I know a guy in my area that sold xenia for about $400! For 2 stalks and it is not even that blue.

Yours can be a cash cow!
