I bought some 5 inch Acrylic tubing for a DIY calcium reactor. I bought more than I needed in case I wanted to make a kalk reactor later on. Now I have a problem, how do I cut it? What kind of tool do I use?

Any suggestions?

If it is cellcast you should not have a problem, if it is extruded it may not easy to cut. That said, A band saw is the best way, the next would be a router table where you can turn the tube against a brace... the last would be ...drill a hole and use a jigsaw.

I would use a Miter saw....

I've done it on a table saw. Make a a jig that holds the tubing square to the blade. Basically a flat piece of plywood with a vertical piece screwed to the back. Hold the tubing against the vertical piece and push the whole assembly towards the blade until the blade starts to cut into the tube. Once the blade makes its way through one side of the tube, rotate it until the cut is complete.....
