hello
I currently run 4 DE ushio 250 watt 14k halides and I'm looking to switch them out. I also run two actinic t-5s. I like the bright color but a lot of my corals don't seem to color up. The ones that are supposed to be purple, red, green, all tend to go to a brownish color. for example, my purple digi , when fragged and put into my frag tank will become more purple than when it's in my main tank. it's not the health of the corals as they are all growing and healthy.
Has anyone switched to another brand from Ushio and can you post your experiences? There's a lot of conflicting info on the web "too blue" "too white" not enough. It's such a big investment i don't want to be unhappy for a year
