I finally got my new "Ocean Reef Miser Six Stage RO-DI 150 GPD"
unit hooked up, I turned it on and let it run for a while figured
I'd see how well it works with the cold winter water up her in NY.
Here are my unscientific testing results:
My input pressure is about 80-85 psi
(drops to 80 psi while water flowing)
I get a gallon of water in about 10 minutes
(6 GPH good water)
The waste to good water is less than 2 to 1
(less than 2 gallons waste to 1 gallon of good)
TDS after the RO stages = 1-2
(this unit has 2 RO filters in it)
TDS after the DI stage = 0
I think it did great considering that I am feeding it
with some pretty cold water (probably around 54 degrees).
The unit was well put together, and it came with
everything I needed to hook it up and get it running.
On a side note the Pre-Sale and the post Sale support were outstanding.
I had a ton of questions and Jim took the time to work
with me and help me to pick out the unit that suited me.
He really took the time to answer all the questions throughly.
