I recently bought a small frag of Montipora danae for my red sea max 130. I was just wondering if anyone has successfully kept montipora in one of these tanks?

I hoping i can get it to grow out, but I'm not sure if the lighting is sufficiant.

It looks like the stock lighting is 55W PC 10KK and 55W Pc Actinic. At least that is what I found at redseamax.com.

With that lighting, I suggest placing the montipora up high in the tank.

My danae very slowly lost color and then started to recede over about 8-9 months. Orange digitata kept its color very well but grew slowly.

I have a RSM 34g.
I have had success with one frag of sps! (I also have only tried one!!!)
I have it high and it has grown immensely!
