Has any buddy have any luck keeping a GoldFlake Angel in a Reef my Reef is 1000 gal mix reef acros lps softies any respones would be helpful Thanks

like all angels its always a hit or miss deal but to answer your question yes there are a few people on RC that have succesfully kept a goldflake angel in a reefid say your best bet would be if you had a complete sps tank with no lps zoos or clam mantles not saying that it cant be done but your odds are higher when placed in an sps reef... im sure some people will chime in hear and correct me if im wrong

I have mine in my 320g mixed reef. It started nipping on brain corals first. It has also taken a few swipes at my clams, but it was a temporary thing. I think it was taste testing them and didn't like it. If you keep it well fed it reduces its desire to nip on corals.

Mine eats cetain zoas and brains. No problems with my elegance or any sps. I don't keep any clams.
