Just pick up a 6 bulbs ATI power module used. the last owner run it without the shield. The reflector has some stain on it. What type of polish compound can i use to make it go away or can i just replace the reflector. If so, how much for each reflector. My fixture has 6 bulbs.
Thanks
Steve

I use ZEP stainless steel cleaner on my SLS reflectors. I dunno if you can use it on ATI's though.

Steve,
Use a damp with water tissue paper to break up the salt. Do this over and over until all the salt creep is gone. Then continue to wipe the reflectors down with tissue paper until all the streaks are gone. Should polish up nicely.

Clint, thanks for the advice. The reflector has some pinkish stain on it but no salt. I will give it a try today to see if it work.
Creetin, thank you. I will give it a try after i try Clint's technique.

Sorry i meant SLR reflectors. (Icecap) I know this is the only cleaner they (Icecap) reccomends to use.
Home depot sells it. Its in a spray can in the cleaning section.
FWIW I used to work in a stainless steel plant.
Stainless is polished with soft buffing wheels and a special polishing wax type material.
I dunno if ATI uses a special silver coating though.
Might want to call Reefgeek. Water or other cleaners may tarnish the finish if thats the case, and by the way it sounds with you describing the staining it might be.
Better to be safe. :)

If its silver you'll probably need a silver cleaner.
Tarn-X may get rid of that pink stain.
Ask Greg though. Oliver should know what to use.
