Someone at the meeting mentioned they found a local source for acrylic sheets, but I don't remember who or where. Anyone recall that conversation with me?

I'm going to build a 24x18x10 frag tank, so I think I need 3 sheets of 24x24 1/4" (doing a single-piece top since I'm using 1/4")

Are you dead set on your size? I don't know much about making tanks out of acrylic, but I do have some acrylic. Its only 1/8" thick, though -- although it feels substantial, if can be "bent." The sheets are 20"x16" (may be 15 7/8") I'm going to use a sheet to make baffles in my sump. Do you think you could make use of any of this acrylic?

THATS IT! Thanks!

1/8" is way too thin for a tank much bigger than 5 gallons. I'm pushing it doing 1/4", and I'll have to do a top brace. Ideally, I should use 1/2" but it's not in the budget right now.

I can use 1/8" for building skimmers and reactors, but haven't had a need to. I was thinking of building a phytoplankton reactor, but i was waiting until Summer when the garage isn't so cold. :)
