Hi i have a 22g zero edge tank, and am using B ionic to 2 part to maintain calcium. With my sump the total water volume is close to 30gallons. I brought the calcium level up to around 450 yesterday. I tested today and my calcium level is around 420. How much would i have to dose daily to keep it at 420? thank you!

Unfortunately, there is no easy answer. Your calcium consumption will depend on many factors. IMO, your best bet is to keep records of how much you are dosing and the corresponding Ca levels to find your tank's consumption.

Hope this helps,

Kevan

[welcome]

I agree that trial and error is the best way to determine a routine dose, and I'm also certain the calcium did not really drop by 30 ppm in one day.

That said, this calculator will show you how much is necessary for any given boos you want, sandshifter. :)
