Unusual Frag Plug ideas

I recieved a frag the other day and it had me thinking.

Im assuming its just live rock in the middle but not really sure. The zoa bowling ball is interesting.

Ive seen the standard reef plugs, golf tees and even dominoes the other day on here.

The question is, has anybody used anything "odd-ball" non-lr.?

I was thinking about glueing a shooter marble to the top of a golf tee and placing zoas on it. Then even thought about the goldball itself?

Crazy, stupid, tacky or unseen issues?

Only thing I could think of was that glass marbles are colored with metals, (blue = copper) but not really sure it could leach.

If you are thinking marbles...why do they need to be colored...just get plain glass ones like these:

They do look promising. Going to order some and see. Clear. Going to see if there are any larger ones available from a different supplier.
