Hi All,

Just moved my pinnate batfish from my 5ft into my 6ft after acclimatising him correctly though as you could imagine he was a little stressed but seems to have recovered ok and is eating etc.

This problem is that since the move he has developed this white mark and ive never actually seen it before so im assuming its stress induced. He's still behaving normal and seems happy (as he is the only fish in the 6ft). Have had the pinnate batfish now for 1.5 years and this is the first time this has appeared.

Jason,

IMO, that just looks like a scuff or rub mark where some scales got dislodged during the fish's move. No redness or other changes seems to indicate an infection of any sort (at least not yet).

Wow thanks Jay. I did think it could have been a wound from the move but wasnt 100% sure. Thank you again.
