View Full Version : Flower pot dieing?

My flower pot was doing good a couple of days ago... i check the paramaters yesterday 0 phosphate, 0 nitrates, 1.022 salinity, Calcium 420.

here is a picture of it.

they do that....
goniopora(flowerpot) are collected from nutrient rich enviroments like salt marsh and lagoons, they eventually die in captivity.
ive had one die too.

I believe that they should be target fed. Also, your s.g. seems a little low for keeping coral. However, I believe these are considered very hard coral to keep long-term, under the best of circumstances.

so what should i do if its dieing? take it out? most of the flowers have retracted and there are only a little bit left.

me neither...i haven't had a goniopora for like 2 years

Unfortunately, these are another organism that is best left in the ocean.
