Just curius to know if any body has used or attempted to culture live rotifers for SPS feeding..

Seems like it would be an ideal food and very cost efficient in the long run.

If any has used them please post your results and pix are always great.

I did this for a while and it was kind of a pain in the butt becouse you have to get them out of the culture tank and into the display tank before they use up all their nutrients in the sack for themselves. I did it for a couple months twice a week and saw nothing. Now I have been using Chromamax by Kent M, much better and easier IMO. It is designed for SPS corals and every thing I have heard is great. Also Chromamax is about 12$ and should last at least a year or more.

I've considered culturing recently but after doing some research I've decided it's just too much work. You would have to culture the phyto too if you were going to do the rotifers.
