new zoos

i want to put some zoos in my tank but most that i have seen have not been bright or diversified in color. I am trying to get a variety any suggestions

umm.. keep looking! You'll find some good stuff eventually. If your pockets are deep enough you can try buying polyps online. What I do is I drive allover my area going to aquarium shops sometimes 2 hours away (if i REALLY have nothing to do) to see whats there. There are many many shops that are terrible (zoanthid wise) but sometimes you find a diamond in the rough. I've got a few places i check often for zoas but stores stocks change often, you've just gotta keep looking. Good luck!

Some of the cheaper ones are actually really bright and colorful too, so you don't need to spend big bucks on just a few polyps. Look at radioactive dragon eyes and dragon eyes. They are the brightest green and orange I have in my tank and also some of the least expensive...

What color do you want?

A lot has to do with the lighting as well. Sometimes they look "darker" than they really are
