Unfortunately, I didn't have a camera for the entire building process. However, I got a camera today! This is the website that has the plans for the stand that I used.

Still working on the canopy and lights. But, overall... I LOVE IT!

looks good, the only ? I have is the third pic.....did you seal the inside of the doors. if not you will have warping issues other than that great job

good job with the stand
you can use same paint as you stand is but you have the sump so live the doors open for few days or take them out and paint

You could put a couple coats of outdoor minwax on the inside. I used it on my last 2 stands i built and it holds up great

Looks great, nice work. I agree about sealing the inside door.
Seal EVERYTHING with in splash zone and then go out 2 feet (personal experience) Polyurethane or a good enamel gloss paint will work well.
Nice stand and I like the aquascaping too. Might want to get rid of the hydrometer and get a refractometer someday.

wow! maybe i should build these for a living lolol. this is only my second tank and i am proud of how it looks, i have only been in the hobby for a year and a half or so, and i owe alot of my success to all of you who have answered so many forums. so thanks to you all here at reef central.
btw this was my first tank, most of which i sold off to get the 75 going....

wow.. that looks like my 55.. emporer 400 sea clone skimmer n 2 powerheads.. thats creepy.. lol
good looking stand... seal that stand up good n it will last forever

my seaclone started to leak out of the arm that hung from it... i woke up one morning and found saltwater all over my power strip and on the floor... i went with an aqua c remora (and i love it) if i were you i would get rid of the seaclone a.s.a.p!!!
