A couple of weeks ago, I saw a thread on using flexible blue leds for moonlight.. These are completely waterproof and the guy was lining the upper corner of his tank with this. The thread was on a local New York board. Anyone have experience with flexible LEDS that they can share? Where is the best place to buy them and how do I hook up the power supply. I have 3 luminarc reflectors on my tank and is interested in lining the rims of the reflector with these for night-time viewing.

BTW, which color LEDs are people using for moonlight. The Blue LEDs produces light in the 470nm spectrum and the purple LEDs are closer to the 420nm spectrum of actinics. I really like the glow of my corals from actinic lighting at night and leaning more toward that color. I think most people are using the blue LED for their moonlight. What are your experience. I keep saying moonlighting but I actually want more lights than your typical moonlight for nighttime viewing.
