Is 1 MP40w on random reefcrest enough for 48"x15"x17"? Right now I have it placed on the right wall mid tank close to the front. I notice that because its random reef crest its difficult to get flow to the other side unless its full power. Should I be using 2 mp40ws or should i be using a different setting?

Ok a friend of mine is going to sell me a 1 year old gen 2 upgraded mp40w. So ill have 2 in my 60g tank.

What position is best to put 2? What is sync and anti snyc all about? I want to run in random reef crest.

i've got one MP40w on my 75 gallon with alot of rock work and it works fine. it would be nice to have another maybe an mp20 on the other end of the tank, but i think my anemone would blow away then.

One MP40w should kick butt on such a small tank, two is always nicer but you won't be using them at very high of a speed.

My tank is majority sps. I rarely keep any softies other than zoas. So flow is a big deal to me. I tried short pulse and long pulse last night but they didnt give me the result i wanted. I love random reef crest.

When I get the second pump should I link the pump in sync or anti sync, for random reef crest?
