i wanna cut out a surface overflow in my 9g nano wave. the overflow that comes with it is about half way down the back wall and does nothing to help with surface skimming. i keep getting a film on the top of the water and figure this would help. has anyone done this with a nano wave or with any other nano? do you think i should use a dremil? anyone foresee any problems? i plan on doing it today if no one see any problems

I have put several holes in the backs of my tanks for various reasons. I always use a drill or paddle bit. The paddle bit makes the least mess and you can epoxy the piece back in place if you need to .
