We are going to be changing the configuration of our sump, since the person who built it has the return water coming from the part w/ the skimmers, so it always picks up bubbles...
We are going to put the return pump (Mag 24) which is currently outside of the sump into one chamber of the sump. So we need to redo the stuff on top, basically the water back to the tank.
It seems there are always shut-off valves on each part that returns to the tank; why are they there? Are they really needed?
Can we get all of the parts we need at HD, or will we need to visit a plumbing store?
