nonreef safe fish and reef safe

ok say i hand a 240 and put a 500 next to it so that you could look through one side of the two forty and see the end of the 500.Like in an l shape. The 500 would be a reef and the 240 an all fish. would the reef safe fish in the 500 go nuts if they saw say a lion through the glass?and would a lion try to eat a reef safe fish through the glass and get hurt?

They might at first, but eventually, they will realize that they can't go through it and most likely settle down.
We see this a lot in the store. But eventually, they calm down and realize they are in their own space.

Agreed. My Lieutenant Tang wanted to demolish the image of his own reflection in the very clear acrylic. They settle down as fishie said.
