I have a few questions.

do you QTs snails and hermits? (Clean up crew)

What am I looking for in snails and hermits?

For QT pistol shrimp do I have to have sand in the qt tank?

What am I looking for in pistol shrimps?

Should I QT the pistol shrimp and the and the gobie if they come together?

Yes, you can QT inverts, but it's really not needed. Just acclimate them & you'll be fine.

IMO, there's really no need to QT your clean up crew. However, it needs to be acclimated VERY slowly, and none of the original water should be added to your tank.
Add tank water to whatever container your acclimating them in very slowly, remove container water at the same rate and continue this long enough so that there is virtually none of the original water in the container. This insures that a stray pathogen or parasite in your dealers water will not make it into your tank.

I really want to get a tiger pistol shrimp and a yellow watchmen gobie. I would also like to buy them from the store to see that they have already accepted each other.

Should I put the watchmen in QT tank and let the the shrimp in the DT? Or should I put both of them in the QT? Or just put both in the DT?
