I have an extra calcium reactor collecting dust in the garage and I'm thinking about changing it into a nitrate reactor using the sulfur method. Please post your opionion on this or any links for good reading.
Thanks

I've never used one so I do not understand the theory behind them.

Randy my have an article or two about this. He'll be here in the morning and may be able to shed a little more light on the subject. :)

I expect one can use a CaCO3/CO2 reactor for this, but their needs are different (flow rates, etc) and so they are not necessarily interchangeable. You might search through the DIY forum for folks who have made their own sulfur reactors to see what they did. :)
