jbj nano hqi problem

my wifes jbj 28hqi is having a lighting problem. the light will turn off and then back on. is there a thermal switch in the hood that might be causing this? thank you in advance for any insight into this problem.

are you sure its not just a lose connection on the balast? or perhaps the fuse holder is loose or something?

Mine over 2 years old and not had any issues like that.

i agree with ukguy, check the connections..

i checked all the connnections and they seemed ok. i did find out there is a thermal overload switch in the canopy, that must be what i hear click when the light goes out. i guess i will contact customer service monday and see what they have to say. thank you for the replies
