fuge too! the plexi-glass is set-up for about 4" of sand and plenty of LR and chaeto! I've figured about 100gph through the sump with the height the mag 2 has to push. Also the 29g display coupled with 29g fuge = plenty of water!

Looks good, but you may want to widen the slots of your overflow box. You will find out when you fill it up with water and plug in the return pump.

Thank you, I am well aware of this. I used measurements from an overflow box I had to come up with what I have now. But I am not afraid to cut a little more if i need to!
Looks good but I'm concerned about the size of the last chamber in your sump with the return pump. How deep do you plan on having the water in the sump?
If it's only as high as the last baffle all evap will be reflected in that chamber and unless you have an ATO it could easily run down too much and your return pump will start sucking air. If you're going to have it higher than the lat baffle make the last baffle the height you want water level in the sump. That way you can skip the eggcrate and don't have to worry about stuff getting sucked into the pump and possibly plugging it.

Up-date:
Well, I have added a large piece to the return pump area to make it a true top-off/dosing area. Also, I am running the mag 2 for a return and am getting about 300gph through the sump! In addition, I have added a mag7 with a closed loop system and a squider valve. Also, I am planing to add another hole and an emergency overflow area.
Just a few questions;
Is a UV Starilizer worth running?
Is 40 lbs of live sand good for the fuge (3.5" sand bed)?
Sorry, no pictures yet.

I don't think the UV light is worth running.

Enjoy, LMK what you think. I also have some good LR coming for the DT. And the scape will change, this is like this for cycling.
