Ok i would like opinions on this light for a sofftie/beginer coral tank

nova extreem slr t-5 (156 watts). drsfostersmith item # cd36004
tank is a standard 30g

How deep is the 30gallon?

aprox 17" from extreem top of tank to the extreem bottom of the tank..so aprox 16' water depth

I'm presently using two of these on my 90 deep and I really need more par so I'm going MH. When I was using just one unit on my 40 it did just fine for softies and some LPS.

well i have no intention of going any where above softies.. i see no use in colored sticks that require extreem lighting and or flow.. i can buy fake colored sticks that need no lighting for way cheaper
