Who's planning on buying something for their tank during this jolly IRS season?

Zoas?
Equipment for your tank?
Other?

I'm saving up for a boat and an upgrade for this summer. I'm going from my 20 Long to a 40 Long. I've got some pretty big plans for this :)

Now that's the ever-lovin' truth. I got hit very hard last year all because I marked the wrong number of deductions on my W-4. Doh!

That's what i'm talking about. :D
How exciting! Are you going to have a build thread when you start?

Like 650, I'm also hoping and praying I get a refund. If I do get a return, I am actually going to be able to purchase a small tank. ;)

Would like to, but like a lot of other people these days, got laid off from work. I may need the money to survive! :(

:( So sorry saltydog. Paying bills is definitely more important than a reef tank.
I guess we can live vicariously through others here.

Yeah thanks, IridescentLily. Good point. At least I have time to read more posts and get caught up on my tank maintenance :D

I am not exactly "buying" anything with my tax returns.

I am paying off some credit card debt though to make room for some purchases when I see somthing that I gotta have.

Iridecentlily-

Hope you have enough extra to get yourself a used biocube (or anything like it) at the least. You deserve it IMO.

I can see it now-

A lighting and flow upgrade, then-

Zoa dominated, with some choice SPS peices up top and a really cool chalice or 2 tossed in....

I bought $12 worth of lumber to build a stand for an outdoor prop system. I didn't have the cojones to spend anymore right now....if it works I'll post pics come May/June. I just don't know if I could sell what I grow, things are pretty bleak down here.

California is giving out IOU's and RAISING taxes, so I don't even have hope! Apparently the government knows how to spend my hard-earned money better than I do, so I have to hand it over. I'm thinking of starting a rape survivors group for victims of the government!

Yes, I am going to try like heck to sock away something for a tank. If it entails telling a little white lie to husband, then so be it.

whats a tax return?

:)
When adults work, they have taxes taken out of our checks each month to pay the Gov't. So we have to have tax paperwork done once a year to find out if the US Government owes us money for the year, or if we owe them money.
If we are owed money from the Gov't, than we get money back via "tax return" checks from the US and Local Government.
We like those. Sometimes we can buy stuff with them. ;)
