My Coralvue 250w 14K halides were a nice crisp white/blue when new 2 months ago but now slowly turning a tint of red. I looked inside the bulbs and noticed some kind of red, inky sediment within the lamp(can't remenmber the name but it's the small capsule that actually lights up). I am running these lamps on Coralvue e-ballasts. The same thing happened when I was running coralvue 400s on PFO and Hamilton ballasts? Anyone know why this is? The sediment settles on the lower part of the capsule.
