target feeding? not sure if many people do that. a lot of people recommend vitamin C especially for zoas but your whole tank as well :)
not to be target fed just dosed to the tank in a powder form daily.

I target feed my tank oyster eggs about once a month. And i dose 1/3 cup of phyto ever 2-3 days in my tank and my zoas aand everything else for that matter are going nutts.

I plan to start Vitamin C dosing sometime soon though.
