Is the Cone skimmer supposed to have an O Ring for the Cup?

Is the Cone skimmer supposed to have an O Ring for the Cup? If so, I didn't get one. FedEx seems to have managed to get it here in one piece!

Yes, there absolutely should be an o-ring in all of the cones skimmers - except yours! :)

I will put one in the mail to you. In the mean time, you should still be able to use the cone if you are using it in sump.

Ok thanks. Is the O Ring for the MSX250 the same size? I can use that one in the mean time.

I have not had a chance to check this, I suspect that it is. Let me knod if you find out before I do.

Definitely not. I thought these had the same neck size. The MSX250 is 5.5". The cone is 5"

Just FYI,

I thought mine came without an o-ring until I found it inside the skimmer body.
Might want to just plave these in a ziplock inside the body when shipping. Or change to a black or colored o-ring so it can be seen.
