I BOUGHT A 24GPD R/O FILTER TODAY. THE ONLY QUESTION I HAVE IS DO I HAVE TO PUT DROP'S IN THE WATER TO TAKE CHEMICALS OUT?

No, its always a good idea to have a tds pen so you know when to change the R/O membrane, and change the pre-filters more frequently

Is it just a RO filter ?? and only 24 gallons a day ??
If your using this RO filter for your tank, You may have just wasted your money.
The Idea of a RO/DI unit is to strip out all the crap, so you dont have to use any chemicals.
You can get a RO/DI unit that puts out pure 0.0 TDS @ 75 gallons a day for $199.00 from the filterguys
And YES.....You need the DI unit....This will get you the 0.0 TDS.
In any case, you should get yourself a portable TDS meter like the COM-100. You can test any water...even your LFS water.
Its the best & most accurate TDS meter in my opinion & its only $50.00.
