alright so I set up a small frag tank. It has three levels for coral growth and a bare bottom. I just today added a small ocellaris clown to the tank (about 1").

I was wondering if anyone knows if it is ok to have a bta in a bare bottom tank? I could take a decent size rock with a nice little crevice and put it in the tank for it? Anyways, it is only a 10 gallon tank and I realize it may be a little small for a bta anyways but I thought I would ask.

It will be too large before long in a 10g, and a nuisance in a frag tank! If you do attempt this, be religious about your weekly water changes. Bare bottom or not, anemones don't care, as they are usually up higher in the aquarium and have no contact with the floor. HTH. =)

A BTA can be BB, but agree, that's too small.
