i have a frag of one about 1 foot and a half away from a 175 watt MH.(350 total) its a 14K bulb. it seems like its starting to turn white a little bit in the middle of the frag. its not bad though it seems. is this too much light or do i leave it or what do you think it is? All water parameters are perfect. it doesnt seem to bad at all.

make sure it's in strong flow. I had a gorgeous colony that went from a single 1" branch to a fist sized ball in about a year. It grew so dense that water flow wasn't making it to the middle of the colony. I noticed a couple white spots in the middle of the colony that I thought were just related to light but turned out to be a bacterial infection that stripped the whole thing to bare skeleton in a single day.
