I have a couple monti caps that are encrusting everything. Does anyone have ideas on how to control where they grow?

I usually just break the cap off where I don't want it to grow... worked so far.

What about the part growing on the rock?

GSP will sting it and keep it from expanding.

It is starting to get too close to a couple of SPS corals, so the GSP will not work in this location. Can I cover the coral with cloth or something to block light?
