I would like to add a simple refugium to my 55gal DT but I am unsure at exactly how to go about doing so. I have a small 10 gal aquarium that will fit under the DT just fine. All I want it for is to keep the micro bubbles down, and to also move all of the equipment out of sight. So my question is, can anyone give me a quick scenario at what kind of equipment I need to pump the water from the DT to the fuge. I beleive I heard of some kinda HOB fuge, or fuge pump:confused:

Also, is there a rule of thumb in the spacing of the 3 baffles in the fuge tank that keeps the micro bubbles to a minimum?

One more thing, would I be able to keep a little chaeto in such a small fuge?

Thanks in advance for the responses and advice.

Eddie

i had a 10 gallon fuge under my old simplicity plus 75, and chaeto grew very well. i used to throw out about a shopping bag full a week. i just used a cheap shop light from wal mart and a 110 watt equivelent screw in compact flourescent.
