After looking at this picture i loving how the rock layout...

and this is my tank right now (17x17x13H)

i just need more opinions if i should i change the rock layout like how the 1st pic look like?, even with maxi1200 as return and a K2 in there some how i dont feel like i have enough flow for the back wall for some corals there.

and the new one look very open space, and if i change the layout how should i place my K2 in there .

Thanks in advance guys.

i would stick those rocks with zoas on in the middle, but thats just me because i like an empty clean sand bed, but its in the eye of the beholder so w/e makes you and the tank happy.

I agree.. I think if you do some tweaking you'll have a great looking tank. I love the look of the horse shoe. Just get those zoas on the rocks :)

Maybe something like this?

I like the openness of the other tank but the left side is kind of empty. A little "patch reef" in your foreground might be kind of cool.

thanks scott and intheC. thats why i want to redo the layout.
and thanks ibnozn for doing that its pretty cool. lol
i like what you did there, the only thing now is flow , "now i have to move the k2 to the front bc , where i put it right now i dont get flow for the back wall. but then its UGLy it the k2 in the front/side of the tank.."

is there another way to put the k2?

The K2 seems best where it is. Could you split the return and shoot half behind the rock? Maybe a cave could get more movement back there?
