Are there any buterflies that i could get for my 40 gal? Its a FOWLR tank and its 3feet long.

I think that a kleinii butterfly would be good in there - they do not get too big and are really hardy (albeit not that pretty IMO :))

thanks, ill check it out, anything else?? I would get it small and if really needed, my LFS takes fish back for credit...

Kleins, blackback, pearlscale. Relatively slow growing and max out around 5 inches. IMO a larger tank would be better but a juvenile would be fine for a few years. They are active fish and appreciate the space. The tank should be very well established and have a good amount of live rock for grazing. Butterflies can be touchy and are best kept by experienced hobbyists.
