Please help. I know I have seen several postings of Zoas not opening or dying. I'm hoping you can help me figure this one out. I have over 25 Frags & or colonies of Zoas & Palys. 1/2 of the colonies are looking good , the others are shriveling up & dying. I have no idea what's going on. This has been going on for 4 weeks approx. Sometimes I have moved a small frag that has closed up into my sump & it seems to help. They actually open up then. Obviously the same water! Here are my water parameters. Thanks for your help!!

Salinity-1.026
Temp 80.3
Alk- 11.5dkh
Calc- 430
Phospates-undetectable
Nitrites-0
Nitrates-0
Magnesium-1310

Have you looked for any spider's?
I'd do a dip they seem to love you after that.

Are these spiders extremely small? I have looked at the Zoas carefully & cannot see anything strange. How long in a freshwater dip?

the only difference between your sump and your display is the current and lighting.... check that.

You display lights need changed?

Has that clown made it's home in them? Maybe they are tired of being harassed and get happy again when they are moved to the solitude of the sump?

Is there more flow in the sump than the main display? If the clown is hosting it, I would say it is the clown too.
