halides not staying off?

I have a Current Outer Orbit MH plugged into my DC8 box that refuses to obey the rules! No matter if the light is programmed to be on or off, whenever the ballast is on the light turns on. Any help? I thought this was only supposed to happen with some compact PCs. Thanks for any advice you have.

Check for duplicate timer names or control address. See setup->timer setup->timer names. If you don't see anything please email your complete program & timer names to support@neptunesys.com.
