I have just moved into a new house, broke down my 70g reef to a tentative 30g for the next month (maybe) until I can upgrade sump, plumbing etc and get the 70 back up.
My 70g had a (dirty) 3" sandbed, but currently the 30g is BB. I am still contemplaiting going BB when I put the 70g back up, or just a light dusting for my YWG (his pistol RIP 2 weeks before the move).
Should I think about returning the tiger tail? Since currently there is no sand in the 30, and I may only keep minimal sand in the DT when the 70 is set back up with a RSDB and I am worried will he go hungry and starve to death?
I really have enjoyed watching him, he looks prehistoric! Thanks for an info!
