Please see the photos below. It appears to me that some type of small predator is munching on my stylophora. I am about to pull it out of the tank and place it in a bucket with coral revive. What is this thing?

I tried to get closer pictures, but they all came out blurry. I placed the coral in some revive dip and washed away the spot on it. It didnt seem to be a critter of any kind, but more like a blob of mucus is how I can best describe it. Any ideas?

I have seen a crab about 1-1/2" wide in my tank, it is brown with white hair legs. I had no idea they might predate on sps. What kind of crabs bother sps?
