Not a good idea. We have done 4-5 months testing with Reeflo mesh wheels the results were mediocre and mesh on a pump with high rpm like the Reeflo will require weekly to bi weekly maintenance. This is why Reef Specialty never came out with a mesh wheel for the Reeflos. Oddly enough our upgrade pin wheels kept up with most friendly mesh modded Reeflo wheel. Also we found that if you mesh the stock Reeflo wheel you will bury the impeller with mesh causing excessive wear on the seal leading to leaks.

Reeflo Upgrade wheel (http://www.reefspecialty.com/Protein-Skimmers-Accessories/c21_64/p312/Reef-Specialty-Orca-200%3D250-Needlewheel-Impeller/product_info.html)

Depending on the skimmer will depend on the performance and results. If it is a Reeflo skimmer you won't be able to run the upgrade wheel without the Upgrade cup.
