Hey everyone, I have the chance to get a great deal on an elegance coral. I just wanted to get some info on them and their care level. Also how long they live for. Any and all info would be appreciated.
Thanks

If they are not australian, they are not likely to survive.

Unless it is already under high light, start it in low light and low flow. They do like the occasional meaty meal. The indo ones have been reported to have very bad survival rates over the last year or so, but the aussie appear to be doing well as long as they don't get mixed together. I got mine damaged from another reefer about 9 months ago. It was healing nicely until a yuma stung it. They are slow healers. Good luck, they are really nice corals.

I picked it up today, and its a Austrialian one. Seems to be doing good. I handled it with care so the tissue would not rip. It was already in a fellow reefers tank for 6 months with no problems.
