help identify...???

Hi all,
I have noticed hundreds of little (microscopic) white starfish/crabs looking things on my glass every day. I will clean the glass and they come back. My tank is three months old, and looking and testing great. What could these little critters be? I wish I could get a pic, but they are too small to show up. Thanks in advance.

Umm do they look like White Starfish or White Crabs? They can't really look like both...lol. Google Mysid Shrimp, Copepods, Amphipods and Asterina Starfish. See if any of these match.

Hydroid jellyfish. Your tank is new enough to have them. They will disappear as suddenly as they appeared.

Thanks Skippy2, that is what they look like after google'n them. There are hundreds of them and they have been in the tank for about two weeks. I have 7 chromis and two clowns, will they eat them or will they just die off?

probably both, I had them in mine for a couple weeks, then they went away shortly after I got my firefish
