Frogspawn Chemical Warfare?

Do Frogspawn use chemical warfare? Reason I ask is that I have a frogspawn that is about 2"-3" away from a small acro colony. Whenever I turn off the flow (i.e. water change or feeding), the acro slimes really bad. I thought it was just a sensitive acro but now I'm wondering if its the frogspawn. Its the only acro in my tank that slimes like this without much of a reason.

The frogspawn is not stinging it as its not that close and I would see if it threw out a sweeper.

Most if not all corals use some sort of chemical warefare. Especailly LPS.

My froggie is known to inhibit my leathers polyp extension.

Well, I moved the Frogspawn down yesterday so we'll see if the acro perks up. So far no change but its only been a day.
