this guys sitting in a container waiting for the answer to decide his fate.

They appear to be Asterina starfish.
I have several in my 135g. They usually stay on the glass and seem to be harmless algae eaters.
Some have reported them eating various corals, but I've seen no evidence of this with the ones I've got.

do they come in different colors i ask because the ones i have are more white gray colored and this one has red in it that's what got me questioning it

just looked up some google pics and indeed there is a variety with red on it .

so in the tank he goes
