I would say you wouldnt need a chiller, I have a 250w over my 24g aquapod and i fight to keep my tempature high enough lol

It depends on how high the ambient temperature gets during hot months. It also depends on how many powerheads you have running as they give off heat.

I keep my house at 72 degrees during summer time and my 24g Aquapod (with 4 total powerheads) heats up to 86 degrees with HQI. I just got a chiller for it so I can keep the temp around 80 next time.

Maybe in the summer. You can probably keep it under control with a fan though when the room is hot. This will increase your evaporation rate though.
