Because of the nitrates is always, or almost always at zero, I cant seem to bring down the phosphates level through macroalgae export (slow growth). I know that the best solution is to incorporate a phosphate reactor/absorber but I'm trying to find an alternative.

Will calcium nitrate dozing be an alternative? If not, what kind of chemical solution that I can doze to increase the nitrate level in my tank?

Thanks.

I would use phosphate reactor WAY before dosing nitrate.

There is no garanteed you will get growth and that nitrate won't just rise

I would go with Icefire's recommendation on this one. Alternatively you could dose NaNO3 so that you aren't adjusting Ca as well as dosing nitrates. Also, doing some overfeeding is a good way to increase nitrates.
